Following the design phase, I copied their site to a development server, leaving the original available for internet visitors, and then rebuilt the whole thing. Keeping the existing content and structure in place to preserve the valuable work the team had already done and the Search Engine Optimisation throughout the site. Once completed and tested the site was then moved back to the live domain, overwriting the original.
